Spa Etiquette and Policy

What to wear...

Cozy robes and slippers are provided for our guests receiving spa services. Most massage and body treatments are enjoyed without clothing, although undergarments may be worn if preferred. During body treatments, you may choose to either wear an old bathing suit (some treatments will stain fabric), disposable panties which are provided, or without any clothing. Male guests receiving body treatments are requested to wear an old swimsuit. Most importantly, wear what is comfortable for you. Our licensed therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times.

Jewelry...

We recommend that you leave valuable jewelry at home. If you do remove your jewelry during your visit with us, you may either lock it in your locker or keep it with you in your purse during treatments. We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.

Gratuities...

Gratuities are left to the discretion of our guests. Gratuities are not included in the price of our services nor are they included in any of our Gift Cards unless specifically noted. A 20% gratuity is customary.

Children...

Our spa is created to be a sanctuary for relaxation. The minimum age requirement to receive spa services is 10 years of age. We love children and we don't like to see them refrained from their natural movements and freedom of expression and exploring. However, our spa environment is not an appropriate place for children. We ask that they are properly attended to elsewhere while you visit the spa. Please see All About Kidz childcare right next door.

Sanctuary Lounge...

Our spa sanctuary lounge is a place to relax and unwind before and after your spa treatments. We encourage you to take a few moments after your treatments in the tranquility lounge to enjoy the experience, have a cup of herbal tea and allow yourself to awaken gently. To maintain this peaceful atmosphere for all of our guests, we ask that you speak softly and refrain from using cell phones while in the spa.

Cell Phones & Pagers...

To respect the wishes of all of our clients, we request that all cell phones and pagers are turned off during your visit. Cell phone use is not permitted in the spa.

Arrive 15 Minutes Early...

This gives you a few minutes to check in at the reception desk, change into a robe, use the restroom, and fill out the appropriate questionnaire according to what services you are receiving.

Allow Relaxation Time AFTER Your Service...

To receive the full benefit from your spa visit, allow yourself 15 to 30 minutes after your spa treatment to relax and gently awaken. Feel free to enjoy a cup of herbal tea in our tranquility lounge or leisurely walk around the outdoor gardens. Our everyday lives are so hectic and busy that you may be surprised how relaxed you are after your treatment.

Health Concerns...

Please let us know when you schedule your appointment if you are pregnant, have allergies, have recently been injured or have health concerns so we can advise you of the best choice of spa treatments. When you arrive at the spa, you will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire. This will allow us to customize your treatment and make sure all methods used support your health and never cause harm. Treatments with heat are not advisable for pregnant women or guests with heart conditions or high blood pressure. Body treatments are not advisable for pregnant women or guests who have difficulty lying flat or turning over on the treatment table. If you have a cold or flu, we recommend you reschedule your spa treatments but please ensure you reschedule within our spa cancellation policy.

Alcohol...

Guests who have consumed alcohol should avoid receiving massage services. Massage of any kind increases circulation and speeds the delivery of these substances throughout your system. The effects of alcohol is greatly intensified by massage, not only making you feel intoxicated but also often making you feel nauseas and dehydrated, and can cause vomiting and severe headaches. Please be aware that consuming alcohol within 24 hours after a massage can also have these effects.
